When the material continues
Some materials do not end their story in production.
Foam scraps commonly created during the production of hotel beds and mattresses at UNAR have this time taken on a completely new meaning. In the hands of students from the art department of ZUŠ Bystřice pod Hostýnem, they were transformed into original objects for the DOTEKY exhibition.
What is part of everyday production for us was turned into unique works of art through children's imagination, creativity, and unique perspective. Technical material was given a new form, emotion, and story.
The exhibition shows that even seemingly ordinary materials can inspire creativity and gain a new life beyond their original purpose. Each object is original — playful, imaginative, and created with authentic artistic expression.
We are happy that material from our production could become part of a project connecting creativity, education, and a new perspective on the use of materials created during the manufacturing process.
